Job Description

Our client is a Global health-care company focused on early detection of breast and lung cancer. They are are Microsoft’s 2023 Healthcare & Life Sciences Partner of the Year and the global market leader in their space. 2,000+ health facilities use their software for early detection of breast cancer, including top US cancer screening centers.

Their world-leading AI-enabled software helps identify people at risk of breast and other cancers to get them on personalized care paths that include additional imaging, genetic testing, risk-reducing medication, surgical intervention, or lifestyle changes. This Sales Executive is a self-motivated, ambitious, and tenacious individual who wants to win. They have a passion for consultative sales and a desire to make a significant impact in the fight against cancer. They have experience selling SaaS or other software/IT solutions in the breast imaging, genetic testing, oncology or Women's Health market segments. They have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of success.

Location is Western USA states and there is also a need in the Northeast states. This is a remote position with approximately 30% travel to client locations.  

Compensation: base salary range of $95,000 to $115,000 plus a generous commission plan.

Specific Duties Include

  • Prospect, nurture and drive sales opportunities across all products in our portfolio in an assigned territory as well as working collaboratively with our Sales and Customer Success teams to grow the existing customer portfolio.  
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals and targets. 
  • Establish and continuously develop relationships with C-suite, departmental and technical decision makers with customers, and key opinion leaders within the assigned territory. 
  • Maintain strong after-sale customer relationships, cultivating positive references and encouraging engagement in the Company customer community. 
  • Maintain mastery of product and clinical knowledge necessary to demonstrate and differentiate our products in a clear and compelling way, optimally handle objections and develop strategies for prospective customers to achieve success with their programs and patients.
  • Track and communicate market trends to/from the field including competitor data and develop and lead effective counterstrategies. 
  • Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings, and support contract negotiations. 
  • Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services (i.e. financial planning, reporting and strategy).
  • Acts with customers in mind; Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.   
  • Peer Relationships:  Can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all.
  • Knows how businesses work; knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, and information affecting his/her business and organization. Knows the competition.
  • Political Savvy:  Can maneuver through complex political situations effectively and quietly.

Required Skills

  • Purpose driven and passionate about making an impact in the fight against cancer.
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn about AI and healthcare and continue to grow in the sales field.
  • 5 + years as a Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, Clinical Sales Specialist, Sales Executive or Sales Manager in the healthcare related software technologies .
  • Success selling SaaS or other software/IT solutions in the breast imaging, genetic testing, oncology or Women's Health market segments is preferred but not required.
  • Clinical experience in breast imaging, genetic testing or oncology market segments is highly desirable.
  • Models the “consultative sales” approach and recognized by others for excellent market development, selling, presentation, listening, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Be able to clearly articulate product value propositions and differentiators vs competitive products .
  • Has progressive experience in engagement and communication with both C-suite and technical decision makers.
  • Represents self with confidence and from a place of power. Likes to win.
  • Has proven ability to take initiative and work independently, while being an effective team player on a remote team.
  • Knows Systems and Software: proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word and CRM (preferably Salesforce).
  • Transfers enthusiasm. Ability to energize, develop and build relationships at all levels within an organization. 
  • Able to travel domestically for events/customer meetings as required.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets safe and satisfactory criteria.
  • Proof of COVID 19 vaccination required, except in limited circumstances where a legally recognized medical or religious exemption may be able to be accommodated.
