Our client is a fast-growing Silicon Valley start-up that has developed the industry’s first indoor 60 GHz wireless system that exceeds the speed and rivals the reliability of existing cabling at a fraction of the deployment time and cost. The company has patented RF innovations that extend the range and gain of wireless signals, penetrating walls and around obstacles that slow or stop transmission.

They are seeking to add an exceptional Frontend/Backend Developer to their team in Santa Clara. This person will wear two hats and be responsible for both Frontend and Backend development. Candidate must live in the general SF bay area but can work remotely much of the time. Must be onsite and available for weekly team strategy meetings.

Compensation: Depends on experience

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, and Bootstrap,CSS.
• Use NPM or Yarn for the package management.
• Integrate REST APIs to fetch and display data from backend services.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Optimize web applications for speed and performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and API frameworks like uwsgi or FastAPI.
• Seamlessly integrate frontend components with the backend.
• Implement RESTful APIs to interact with network devices and management systems.
• Work on Linux-based systems and be familiar with the Shell Script.
• Use the Yocto framework to create the image for the embedded system.
• Manage and optimize network performance, including WiFi and SNMP protocols.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve backend issues.
• Ensure the security and scalability of backend services.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in both frontend and backend development, and network management.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in front-end development using JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of NPM, Bootstrap, and REST API integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with FastAPI, Uwsgi or similar web frameworks.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of embedded systems development, including the Yocto framework.
• Understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, SNMP.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
