Senior Product Manager of Strategy and Innovation / Health Care / Remote

Job Description

The Senior Product Manager of Strategy & Innovation is a critical link in the product development lifecycle, setting the strategic direction of their portfolio of products. This role is responsible for working across multiple stakeholders to ensure Company delivers value to their customers.

Position reports to: Head of Product. Position is an Individual Contributor role with no direct reports and no budgetary responsibility.

Salary range is 140K-180K DOE

Specific Duties Include

  • Strategically directs product development.
  • Executes steps of the product lifecycle for new and integrated product within the assigned portfolio. This includes product ideation, strategic planning, tactical initiatives, product vision, product strategy, product roadmap, product development, and product distribution.
  • Serves as organization’s market expert in creating solutions to enable our vision of becoming the global leader in cancer prevention software.
  • Maximises product revenue and growth while considering internal costs/efficiency.
  • Develops and drives the business case for changes to the product offering or introduction of new products/services.
  • Directs and implements modifications to the product(s) and introduces new products/services that support our mission and vision.
  • Uses well-developed industry knowledge to understand market problems, identify new opportunities.
  • Liaises and instructs stakeholders in sales, marketing, and finance to direct and improve product delivery and launch.
  • Considers product and information security risks as backlog items to manage throughout the life of the product.
  • Leads cross functional team toward vision of product and manages strategic and tactical activities toward release objectives.
  • Advise or mentor other product managers or other stakeholders on process, purpose, and vision of product consistent with pragmatic marketing principles.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or related tertiary qualification.
  • 7+ years’ experience in product management or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in presenting and communicating with stakeholders to maximize product sales and revenue.
  • Use industry knowledge to predict future challenges for the product(s).
  • Use relationships across the business and industry to drive product development and growth.
  • Use a consultative approach to build consensus both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work with teams in different time zones and diverse geographic locations.
  • Must Possess a combination of technical aptitude, commercial, and product management skills.
  • Must Possess communication, negotiation and decision-making abilities.
  • Proof of COVID 19 vaccination required, except where a legally recognized medical or religious exemption may be accommodated.

Desired Skills

  • General healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with mammography products or clinics preferred.
  • Experience with health risk assessment products or genetic evaluation products preferred.
  • Design Thinking experience or Pragmatic Marketing certification preferred.
