VP of Marketing, IT Services/ System Integrator, Dallas or Houston, Texas (or possible hybrid)

Our client is global technology services company with a mission to modernize and transform companies by providing world-class IT consulting, services, and implementation solutions. They are a preferred IT partner for both Fortune 500 enterprises and small and medium businesses across the diverse verticals of telecom, retail, government, aerospace, defense, and real estate.

Company is seeking an experienced and creative VP of Marketing to join their dynamic leadership team. The VP of Marketing is responsible for planning, developing, and executing the organization’s marketing strategy and initiatives. This role builds strong go-to-market strategies that are deeply rooted in client differentiation. Other tasks are to develop successful client relationship strategies, excellent sales performance, and revenue growth.

Specific Duties Include

  • Develop Lead Generation & Client Relationships.
  • Create targeted lead generation and client relationship programs.
  • Research, identify, and qualify new leads from both new and existing clients.
  • Develop Effective Sales Strategies.
  • Be an active participant in developing new methods for engaging with prospective corporate clients.
  • Lead the process for new corporate prospects in each LOB and help set the marketing investment for each pursuit.
  • Own Content Development and Quality Assurance.
  • Ensure that all proposals, qualification packages, presentations, and general marketing materials portray our brand, producing best-in-class, and competitive marketing material.
  • Own Budget, Goals & Metrics.
  • Work with the C-suite to develop an annual marketing budget for the corporate practice and help set annual marketing/sales goals for each LOB within the corporate practice.
  • Expand Partnership management.
  • Leverage marketing budgets from partners like SAP, SAP NS2, AWS, Azure, GCP to fund campaigns and track progress and success.
  • Manage Internal and external communications.
  • Oversee and execute communication efforts across the company.
  • Partner with HR and leaders to develop employee communication strategy.
  • Create press releases and content for external communications on website, LinkedIn, etc.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications or related field.
  • Graduate Degree in Marketing or Communications is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in leading successful marketing and business development programs for professional services/B2B companies.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience leading a marketing organization in an IT Services/ System Integrator.
  • Ability to develop go to market strategies while ensuring adoption and execution.
  • Thorough understanding of executing demand generation, prepositioning strategies, and acting on insights from performance metrics.
  • Ability to mentor, inspire, and motivate business development and marketing staff.
  • Must have excellent strategy execution skills, communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and manage large teams.
