Our client is a market leader and innovator in energy efficient power conversion with its highly integrated controller ICs and proprietary high voltage Gallium Nitride (GaN) transistor technology.  They are seeking to add a Senior Staff Test Engineer to their team in San Jose, CA.

Salary range:  base up to 165K plus RSU's

• Design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting analog and mixed-signal power management semiconductor products.
• Prepare test and diagnostic programs.
• Design test fixtures and equipment.
• Complete the required specifications and procedures for new product development.
• Support and be responsible for sustaining and continuous improvement of production test for multiple products.
• Be onsite with your team 100% of the time.

• BS, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as Test Development Engineer.
• Strong experience and skills with C/C++ programming, computer hardware, and networking.
• Prefer experience in Analog or mixed-signal Test.
• Prefer ETS88 or ETS364 development experience.
• Must have Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be Analytical in nature and adept at troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Must have Ability to achieve results, meet deadlines, and adjust to quickly changing priorities.
• Familiarity with statistical methods of tester and program comparisons is a plus.
