OEM Account Managers, Jr. and Sr., Audio/CE, Silicon Valley

Job Description

Our client is a well-established global leader in the design and manufacturing of audio products for many of the worlds top audio brands. They are seeking two highly motivated OEM Account Managers who enjoys bringing both technical and tactical expertise to cross-disciplinary teams, and are excited about innovative designs with fast-paced product development cycles. The ideal candidate must have previous experience selling OEM products to tier 1 customers and demonstrate solid relationships with GCM, Operations, and R&D. This role will mainly be responsible for maintaining current business, as well as generating new opportunities. You must possess excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships, and be able to work with minimal supervision while driving results independently. Previous Experience selling audio products is advantageous.

Compensation Range: for Junior Account Manager:  $115K to $140K (salary + bonus) Also, Fully paid Medical and 5% 401K contribution
Compensation Range: for Senior Account Manager:  $130K to 160K  (salary + bonus) Also, Fully paid Medical and 5% 401K contribution

Specific Duties Include

  • Specific Duties include:
  • Work with key customer contacts and inside technical engineers to bring up product ramp.
  • Engage day-to-day with customers, their products and applications.
  • Act as proactive liaison with our factory personnel as required.
  • Provide regular project status updates to the manager and drive timely completion of tasks.
  • Negotiate liabilities with customers and retrieve PO when applicable.
  • Manage product transitions to minimize excess and obsolete materials.
  • Lead recovery plans and execution when supply falls short of demand.
  • Responsible for RFQ to supply base for NPI programs.
  • Support sales and marketing activities by actively retrieving market information and opportunities.
  • Communicate daily with sales staff regarding sales activities and strategies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), MBA is a plus.
  • Prior experience in FATP/Module/Hardware development.
  • Proven record of increasing revenue, maximizing sales performance and profits.
  • Detail-oriented and experienced in quotation management.
  • Experience Level: 3-5 years for Junior position, 5-10 years for senior position, of selling to major OEM customers.
  • Travel Amount: Up to 30%
  • Demonstrated project & program management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Persistent, goal/deadline driven work style.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Available to travel to China when necessary.
  • US citizenship or Green Card is required.
  • Previous Audio Sales or Account Management experience is a plus.
