Our client is a start-up located in Sunnyvale. They are seeking a Director of Marketing to add to their team. The Director of Product Marketing will play a very key role in Company's growth and success. The candidate will be responsible for delivering results in the following areas:
- Product roadmaps.
- Product and company positioning (Strategic messaging, Marcom, PR)
- Revenue and design wins on their products and/or regions.
- Go-to-market strategy and execution.
- Strategic partnerships.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Participate in product and company strategy development.
- Develop roadmaps, drive internal alignment and external validation for business case justification, as well as manage product lifecycle.
- Create high-level MRDs and detailed functional requirements.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to validate and successfully negotiate business and technical requirements.
- Develop alternatives, resolve issues, overcome obstacles and continue to move the product development to the next stage.
- Manage the rollout of new products to customers, sales channels and media, including development of competitive analysis, product positioning, pricing and selling proposition.
- Develop and deliver sales channel training and documentation.
- Assist in the development of the company brand.
- Company and product positioning.
- Communicating messages externally and internally to media, analysts, customers and employees.
- Work with engineering, sales, and operations to manage product lifecycles.
- Develop processes and workflows as required.

| Required Skills: |
- BSEE or a Bachelor's degree in business required. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of successful semiconductor marketing experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including international.
- Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
- “Can do” positive, enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of PLLs and timing issues is a plus.
- Successful startup experience is a plus.
- Detailed knowledge of frequency issues such as phase noise, jitter, ppm error, and skew is a plus.
