Our client is a private company located in Silicon Valley. They are seeking a few Sr. SW Engineers to add to their team to help get their new products out the door. These engineers will be individual contributors on the Lawful Intercept development team, being responsible for design, development, unit test and integration of modules and features for this product platform. This is a hands-on position requiring exposure to the full software development life cycle, strong technical and  programming background combined with the capability and experience of leading and mentoring junior engineers.

• 6-8+ years of overall software development experience
• Solid experience with C++ programming.
• Strong TCP/IP
• UNIX/LINUX/Solaris
• Strong Linux system development: Interprocess communication: sockets, pipes, shared memory multithreading:  thread start/finish, mutexes, condition variables.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as RADIUS, DHCP, SIP, SMTP, POP3, RTP.
• Exposure to telecommunication network architectures: GPRS, CDMA2000, VoIP,  Packet Cable, Soft Switch, Circuit Switch, SMS, IMS, etc.
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools such as ClearCase
• Familiarity with software development environments such as Eclipse

• Knowledge of Lawful Intercept standards such as J-STD-025, ETSI, PacketCable, etc.
• Driver and kernel experience.
